Can I have API access while I'm on a trial?

No. The n8n public API is not available during the free Cloud trial. API access is a paid-plan feature and cannot be enabled on a trial instance.

• The n8n public API is available on all paid Cloud plans: Starter, Pro, and Enterprise.

• If you need API access without paying for n8n Cloud, you can self-host n8n Community Edition instance. The self-hosted Community Edition instance provides access to the n8n API. For more information, see the n8n self-hosting documentation.

• To use the API with an n8n Cloud instance, upgrade to a paid plan. You can find instructions for upgrading to a paid plan here.
